Local artist, Pete Nguyen, designed custom art in partnership with McKee School’s leadership team. They requested brilliant colours and the inclusion of their school mascot, the wolf. Thanks to Pete for capturing the energy of this wonderful community!
To date, two schools - Delton and McKee - have beautiful, bright outdoor spaces, thanks to the Fresh Hoops program, and another six schools have courts under construction. This spring, work will start on another eight schools, providing even more students and communities with a refreshed space.
Fresh Hoops is an ongoing partnership with the Edmonton Stingers to revitalize basketball courts at Edmonton Public schools across the city. Go Auto has generously donated an initial $500,000 to the program, with an additional $500,000 available in matching donations - every donation to Fresh Hoops goes twice as far. With the help of generous donors, we hope to invest $1.5 million dollars into these important community spaces.
