Every day, Edmonton Public Schools Foundation donors help make learning possible through the Top-ups for Tummies initiative. By supporting breakfast, lunch, and snack programs across the Division, you help ensure students have the nourishment they need to focus, learn, and thrive.
When a child no longer worries about being hungry, everything changes — focus improves, confidence grows, and classrooms become more inclusive and connected. These meals don’t just fill stomachs; they fuel potential.
This upcoming holiday season, we invite you to consider making a gift to Top-ups for Tummies. Your support helps students focus on their first spelling test, build confidence during a presentation, or find joy in learning something new.
Together, we can ensure every student has what they need to succeed — one meal, one classroom, and one community at a time.
What does it mean to donate to our General Fund?
When you give to our General funding pillar, you help us stay flexible, responsive, and ready to meet students where they need support most. We call this our “Area Most In-Need” fund.
Because of donors like you, we can take action when unexpected needs arise—like last year, when your generosity helped us provide 1,700 backpacks for students who needed them.
These funds make an immediate impact, filling gaps and ensuring every student has what they need to learn, grow, and thrive—no matter when or where the need appears.

On Friday October 31, our volunteers will be on-site to raise awareness about the Foundation and take part in the community spirit and spooktacular fun. No tricks here—just treats and a whole lot of fun!

About Chelsey
Chelsey is an Account Director with FKA, where she bridges communication between clients and the agency team while providing strategic support for advertising campaigns and marketing initiatives.
A passionate advocate for public education, Chelsey believes deeply in equitable access to learning opportunities for all students. Her commitment to strengthening communities through education continues to inspire her work with the Foundation.
Outside of work, Chelsey enjoys spending time with her kids, playing tennis, travelling, and cooking. We’re grateful for Chelsey’s leadership, insight, and dedication to helping every student reach their full potential.
