Backpacks are packed, pencils are sharpened, and dreams are taking shape.
The countdown is on! In a few short days, students will be walking through the doors of classrooms across Edmonton. The air is buzzing with excitement, anticipation, and possibility. Whether it’s the thrill of a first day in Kindergarten or the final steps toward graduation, back-to-school is a time of fresh starts and big dreams.
Fueling Futures: Back to School Fundraising Campaign

Every student deserves to begin the year with the resources, support, and confidence they need to thrive. This month, we invite you to join us in making that happen.
Help us raise $10,000 before the start of the school year!
From August 21 to September 2, we’re running our Fueling Futures: Back to School Fundraising Campaign, and we’d love for you to be part of it. Our goal? To raise $10,000 before the first bell rings to help fund vital supports for students across Edmonton Public Schools. And thanks to your incredible support, we’re making great progress!
Raised So Far: $5,340
Goal: $10,000
Your donation can provide the support, technology, and resources students need to thrive inside the classroom and beyond. While we accept donations all year long, gifts received before school begins can give students a strong start from day 1.
Help us fuel futures today. Every gift makes a difference.
Let’s Pack the Pack!

Back-to-school season is a time of excitement and new beginnings, but for some families, ensuring their children have the essentials can be challenging. This August, the Edmonton Public Schools Foundation, in partnership with Kingsway Mall, is collecting new, unused school supplies to ensure every student starts the year confident and prepared.
From August 4 to September 6, drop off your new or unused school supplies donations at Kingsway Mall. Just look for the giant backpack near Starbucks!
Every notebook, pencil, and pack of markers helps a student feel ready to learn from day one.
Let’s Pack the Pack and set students up for success.

Q: If you could tell donors one thing about their impact, what would it be?
“Because of you, the educational playing field is being levelled for hundreds of children every year. You are helping students succeed in school and in life!”
