Introducing Our New Endowment Fund
The Edmonton Public Schools Foundation is excited to announce the launch of our brand-new Endowment Fund held with the Edmonton Community Foundation (ECF). This fund represents a transformational milestone, ensuring a permanent, sustainable source of support for local students.
To celebrate this launch, the Edmonton Community Foundation has generously agreed to match all donations dollar-for-dollar up to $50,000 through December 31, 2026. By raising $50,000 in community contributions before December 31, 2026, we can unlock the full $50,000 ECF match to create a $100,000 endowment fund before the new year! Every dollar you contribute today means twice the support for Edmonton children tomorrow.
Because the principal of this endowment remains permanently invested, your gift generates reliable, recurring funding year after year - helping us adapt and respond to changing student needs for generations to come.
How to Contribute
Double your impact by donating before the December 31 deadline.
Donate directly online via the Edmonton Community Foundation’s website or visit our Endowment Page to learn more about ways to give!
Uplifting Edmonton’s Youth
Proceeds from the fund directly support Edmonton students through key initiatives, including:
- Learning tools and technology: Equipping students with Chromebooks and essential school supplies.
- Early literacy support: Filling classroom libraries with engaging, diverse books.
- School nutrition: Fuelling bright minds through programs like Top-ups for Tummies.
- Mental wellness: Delivering mental wellness resources directly into school communities.
“Investing in students transforms lives and opens doors to opportunity. Stronger students build stronger communities for generations to come.”
- Leanne McFee, Chair, Edmonton Public Schools Foundation
“The development of a strong foundation for children early in life takes more than programs alone. It depends on stable, welcoming spaces for children to learn and play, and on the educators, caregivers and organizations that help families thrive.”
- Allan Undheim, Vice President of Community Impact, Edmonton Community Foundation
Help us unlock the full $50,000 match before December 31, 2026, and establish a legacy of learning in Edmonton!
