What an extraordinary start to the 2026–27 school year! We are overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of our Edmonton community. Thanks to your incredible support, we kicked off the school season by surpassing our Fuelling Futures campaign goal, collecting thousands of essential school supplies through Pack the Pack, and raising vital funds through local golf tournaments. Together, we are removing barriers to learning and ensuring every student enters the classroom equipped, confident and ready to thrive. Read on to see the impact you’ve made this month!
Fuelling Futures
Thanks to our incredible community, we not only met our goal for the Fuelling Futures Back to School Campaign — we surpassed it! Together, we raised an amazing $10,495! Every dollar ensures even more students can start the year supported, inspired and ready to learn.
Thank you to everyone who donated, shared our posts and cheered us on. You are removing barriers to learning and directly shaping brighter futures for Edmonton students!
Here’s to a year of learning, growth and big dreams — for every student, in every classroom.

Our Pack the Pack campaign at Kingsway Mall was an incredible success! Thanks to this amazing community, over 2,000 school supplies — including backpacks, binders, paper and pencils — were donated to help local students thrive.
We are so grateful to Kingsway Mall for hosting us and helping make this magic happen! Because of your kindness, even more students are stepping into the classroom feeling confident, equipped and ready to learn. Thank you for making a real difference this school year!
Beyond our main Pack the Pack campaign, so many incredible community partners stepped up in a big way to run their own school supply drives for the Edmonton Public Schools Foundation!
A huge thank you to these amazing organizations for going above and beyond: CIBC, The Varsity Kitchen Bar Burgers, Kits for a Cause and Burger King, Chick-fil-A The Meadows, Enbridge Centre and Hines Property Management, Colliers, Lunatech Consulting Limited, CATALIS and Londonderry Mall.
Every donation matters and helps create classrooms full of possibility and hope. Thank you all for your commitment to helping students begin the school year supported, inspired and ready to learn.
Golfing for Good
There is nothing better than spending a day out on the green, especially when it’s for a great cause! We are so deeply grateful to have been included as a charitable partner in a couple of fantastic golf tournaments this past month. From wonderful conversations on the fairway to the incredible generosity of everyone involved, these events brought our community together in the best way possible.
A huge thank you to the Public Schools Administrators Association (PSAA) for including the Edmonton Public Schools Foundation in their August 26 tournament. Thanks to the warm support and contributions of everyone who organized and attended, we raised over $1,000! The PSAA continues to play such an important role in building awareness for our work and helping our students thrive.

We were also honoured to head out to the RedTail Landing Golf Club on September 2 as the chosen charitable partner for Jayman BUILT’s golf tournament! It was a fabulous day full of sunshine, connection and community spirit. Between the event participants, team support and some enthusiastic mulligan purchases, Jayman BUILT presented us with an amazing $2,752 donation!
Every single swing, donation and mulligan directly helps us support Edmonton students in the classroom.
If you or your organization are searching for a charitable beneficiary for an upcoming golf tournament, the Edmonton Public Schools Foundation would love to team up with you!
Our First Board Meeting of 2026–27
On September 9, our Board of Directors came together for the first meeting of the 2026–27 school year! It was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect and look ahead at how we can continue supporting the students we serve and their school communities. We are also excited to officially welcome two new members to our Board! Stay tuned — we look forward to sharing more about them and the unique perspectives they bring in the coming weeks.
We are deeply grateful for the leadership, vision and dedication of our entire Foundation Board as we work to build brighter futures together. Thank you to all of our board members for your ongoing passion and commitment!
