Fresh Hoops

The Fresh Hoops program started as a grassroots movement replacing basketball nets and has expanded to offer complex court renovations to multiple schools.

The Foundation is thrilled to continue providing updated basketball courts to Division schools through a partnership with the Edmonton Stingers Fresh Hoops program. Last year, the Foundation received an initial $500,000 donation from Go Auto to support basketball court renovations at many schools in Edmonton. In addition to this generous gift, Go Auto will also match all donations up to $500,000 made to the program, bringing the total investment from Go Auto to $1,000,000! This matched donation will mean new courts for even more schools!

Updated basketball courts benefit schools, students and the community by promoting teamwork, aiding in social, physical and mental health, and providing an opportunity to access a safe space for sports.
