About Catherine
Catherine Bay is the Acting Director at the Edmonton Public Schools Foundation. She is supported by Edmonton Public Schools and the Foundation’s Board of Directors in all aspects of fund development, event planning, community engagement, communications, marketing, social media, administration and more! She loves being able to have a vast range of responsibilities which all support leveling the playing field for students who come to the classroom at a disadvantage.
With over 12 years of experience in the charitable sector, Catherine brings a unique experience in both fund development and grants management. It has always been important that Catherine’s work is able to make a difference in the lives of those around her and she loves that she is able to support youth in so many ways. In her spare time, Catherine loves to spend time with her family: going on bike rides, walks or other new adventures. She loves reading, cooking and travelling whenever she gets the chance!

Q: What was your favourite subject in school and why?
A: Catherine loved math, chemistry and physics in school and even started her University education in Engineering, before switching to Business!
Q: Do you have a favorite memory from school?
A: Catherine attended an arts junior high and high school and loved performing in musicals and dance shows!
