

About Bryce
Bryce Meldrum is a frontline fundraiser with more than 10 years of experience in the non-profit sector. He began his career working with a small non-profit based in Canada supporting projects in Haiti and Ethiopia. In 2013, he joined the University of Alberta and took on various roles, including with central Advancement, the Faculty of Engineering and the Office of the Dean of Students.
At the beginning of 2020, Bryce moved into the position of Director of Development for the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Alberta. In this role, he works with donors to understand their philanthropic passions and aligning those with the Faculty’s core priorities of research, teaching and learning.
Bryce is a family man and with his wife Diana, is busy raising 3 children, all who are currently enrolled in Edmonton Public Schools.

Q: What was your favourite subject in school and why?
A: Foods. You get to learn how to cook and then eat your assignments.
Q: Do you have a favourite memory from school?
A: I loved track and field days. Any chance to get out of the classroom with my classmates was welcomed.
