In 2019, a group of local change makers passionate about amplifying local causes adopted our Foundation and worked with us in a consultative role. This influential team of diversely talented women at Apricity provided us with critical feedback about our fundraising activities and events. They also helped us broaden our connections, which resulted in an outstanding $20,000 donation from the CN Community Fund. Learn more about Apricity’s support through their wrap-up blog.

Every November, the Association of Fundraising Professionals Edmonton and Area Chapter hosts the National Philanthropy Day luncheon where local non-profits can honour their donors and partners. This year, we recognized two special Foundation donors: Brookfield Residential Edmonton and Ray & Joyce Purdy who are loyal ambassadors and supporters of early learning intervention. But that is not all! The Purdy’s and the Brookfield staff are always willing to help broaden our fundraising efforts and connect us with other like-minded philanthropists in the community.
